Although I was born in Split, after the initial shock of moving to village beneath the mountain Mosor village, I realized that the country life is not that appalling. You have no problem with parking the car, mountain Mosor is right next to your house, and each bicycle ride is always a good workout.

I can say for myself that I am sport and movement addict, and working in the Sport Climbing Club Split, I'm trying to pass on that love for the sport to the youngest. For many years I was head of the office of the Commission for sport climbing and I often accompany climbing team during World and European contents.

Even though my first visits to the mountain were related exclusively with training for adventure races in which I participated; in time, visiting mountains grew into love, and I began to rediscover the places through which I used to scuttle. Because of the aspiration to share my gratification with mountains with others, I became a mountain guide.

Participating in adventure races, I learned that the restrictions are only in your head, the strength of mind is the most important in life and by giving someone a hand, you give away but also receive energy.

I’m also editor of an Adventure sport portal, and most of my free time I spend running on the Marjen in Split, riding a bike in the surrounding villages and islands or enjoying kayaking.

One should search with the heart...

In southern cliffs of Velebit, the trail I’m happily coming back and I always have the same dilemma; is this path deserved its name or the name deserved the path.

“Hey, where are you going with these kids? You cannot go there, not through the rocks, the path is all the way round!” - These were the words of a granny that we met while dropping off and equipping a bunch of kids and mountaineering school attendees in Rupotine, the suburb of Solin, preparing them to climb on one of the peaks of Kozjak St. Juraj.

People are saying that it is a lot easier to agree with men, and that is probably the reason our group reduced to four of them. I, as the only member of the gentle gender, and four of them: Ivan, Brane, Goran and Vlado. When looking at them while they are walking with those long walking sticks, they seem like four musketeers.
