Croatia is a country of rich historical heritage, natural beauty and a pleasant climate. Croatia has one of the most picturesque coastlines in the world.

Exceptionally attractive, its Mediterranean coastline 1.777 kilometers long, can boast with 1.185 islands which together have 4.058 kilometers of coastline. Croatian coastline has many natural beauties, mighty cliffs, hidden bays, rocky cliffs and picturesque beaches. Coast and islands are noticeable by its numerous small towns according to whose appearance you might think that time has stopped. Medieval fortresses, castles, churches and cathedrals are telling the story about the rich and cultural history.

Istria is Croatian tourist region, closest to Western Europe, whose landscape can be compared to that of Tuscany or Provence. Vineyards and picturesque little towns are scattered all over the interior of the peninsula. Some of the major coastal tourist centers are the towns of Poreč (under UNESCO protection), Pula (with its amphitheatre) and Rovinj.
